The 9th European Conference on Applied Superconductivity, EUCAS 2009, was been held in Dresden, Germany, September 13-17, 2009.
Since 1993, EUCAS is one of the leading international conferences dedicated to new developments in superconductivity, superconductors and their applications. Every two years the scientific community in this field meets in Europe to present and discuss new ideas and developments. It brings together scientists from universities and research centres with industry to share recent achievements and innovations in the field of applied superconductivity. The conference will cover continuing improvements in low TC materials and applications with the emerging applications of High Temperature Superconductors and exciting developments of new superconducting materials. The conference topics will cover materials and basic properties, wires and tapes, superconducting electronics as well as large scale applications.
Besides science, fall in Dresden gives you also a perfect opportunity to explore the rich culture and the beauty of the city as well as the landscape nearby.
